ROCK A DOODLE DOO is given the verdict in this handicap with She's My Rock likely to give him most to do. The William Jarvis-trained pick showed signs of life when runner-up at Lingfield last time, his first run in a handicap. He remains on the same mark of 55 for today's contest, but this step up in trip is likely to bring about improvement, and he can go one better. She's My Rock is another one stepped up in trip and has already shown some course form when making the frame here over a furlong shorter from the same mark as today. After just six starts there is probably more to come and she is respected. Mark Johnston saddles Always Dixie, who was thrashed at Lingfield last time but may well appreciate the return to this track, the step up in trip and a 3lb drop in the weights, so check out the market for clues. The Great Husk makes his handicap debut and a repeat of his effort in a claimer last time out would probably see him get competitive today, while New Den is another having his first run in this sphere and with the stable going well there is every chance that he can get heavily involved. Rock A Doodle Doo is given the vote.
