Expect To Succeed never got involved at Newbury but made good progress to finish third at Newcastle and should improve further. Main Target showed good pace for a long way before fading here last month though finished behind Rockets Red Glare, who was making his debut and should have the edge again. VISALA is the only filly in the race and can make her allowance count. William Haggas sent her to Lingfield for her opening run and though she never got into contention she made good late headway and will have learned plenty. Yorkshire-trained newcomers Alhaajeb, a 140,000gns brother to the useful Gravity Flow, and Ten In A Row, a £135,000 half-brother to two-year-old Listed winner Calypso Beat, are others to keep an eye on.
