Copake, well beaten over a mile on soft at Newmarket, did better on this surface at Newcastle next time. Lexington Fury made a reasonable debut when staying on over 6f here but didn't make the expected progress over this trip at Lingfield. Renbawi should stay further in time but is a full brother to a winning all-weather miler and a half-brother to a 6f winner so should have enough pace. ALGHEED is by Dark Angel out of a winning sprinter so should be ideally suited by the trip and can make a successful debut though Global Response is another with plenty of pace in his pedigree and is one to note.
