Mantle is likely to start the hot favourite for this contest and although she doesn't look the most straightforward, she remains the selection ahead of the terribly exposed Go Amwell and the debutante Young Emma. The latter made an inauspicious beginning to her racing career in a recent bumper at Huntingdon and will need to show a lot better to trouble the selection, although this half-sister to punters favourite Young Mick was not totally unfancied that day and so it is assumed that better can be expected today. John Jenkins's Go Amwell showed fair improvement to finish second last time out, however that was in a poor banded contest at Kempton and so he can surely only be aiming for place money this afternoon. James Fanshawe is doing very well with the few that he's sending out this winter, and this is the weakest race that the selection has contested so far and it should be no more than a penalty kick for her, although the likely cramped odds make this a poor betting medium. However, whilst she was turned over at odds-on in her only previous visit to this course, she remains the confident selection to finally get her head in front.
