An eventful contest which saw plenty of jumping errors along the way. However, RJ Kiloran's's gameplan held together well aboard Slick and the partnership ran on strongly to register a smooth success in the end. Rebel Raider made an encouraging start to the season and can pick up a small prize somewhere along the line. Just Beware was left behind on the approach to the last and stayed on in his own time, while Femme D'Avril lacked the speed to challenge when they came up the home straight. Marghub was the only other to last ther distance.
