Foreign Edition, Rosein and Campo Bueno make up the shortlist in what looks a very open sprint, with the tentative vote going to Julie Camacho's gelding Foreign Edition. The selection was finishing well when last seen over course and distance, and is taken to reverse the placings with the winner that day Rosein. Foreign Edition is less exposed than the majority of these seasoned sprinters and could still be open to further improvement. Rosein won that day thanks to a frantic early pace but he was comprehensively beaten last time out when fluffing the start. If he jumps away on terms today he should go very close. The ex-French horse Campo Bueno has been running consistently well recently in better races than this one and so may be able to take advantage of the drop in grade, and therefore he must rate a threat although he does have a high draw to overcome. Of the rest, Pieter Brueghel has run consistently this season in higher profile races but it is sixteen months since his his last victory and this is only his third start on the all-weather. Similarly, Connect is a sprinter with talent but he too hasn't won for a long time and is so is another passed over in favour of the selection, Foreign Edition.
