It should pay to concentrate on those towards the top of the weights here, one of them being IF I HAD HIM. George Baker did well with the gelding in the spring as he progressively stepped him up in trip. Given a break since winning over course and distance in May, he is now 8lb higher, but this thorough stayer represents a yard in good form and is taken to complete a hat-trick. If anything can lower his colours then it could be Follow The Dream, who also stays very well and returns from a summer break on a competitive mark. New Code is interesting now stepped up in trip but does have stamina to prove. Pearl showed signs of a return to form here last time and looks best of the remainder, with Dart showing a clear preference for the Fibresand.
