Verdict

It will be a little disappointing if DELEGATOR can't confirm Newbury form with Sir Gerry even though there was only a neck between them at the line. The Godolphin colt was reported to be likely to need that run and did everything easily enough despite the narrow margins at the post. Red Jazz was surely flattered by his run at Ascot but the best of the rest of his form gives him every chance of making the frame at a track he runs well although he could get some company up front with Duff in the line-up. Main Aim was beaten into fourth twelve months ago and connections now reach for a visor whilst Himalya, High Standing, Dream Eater and Cat Junior continue to frustrate despite performing creditably. Mabait is another with minor claims along with Shakespearean who needs to bounce back from a poor run.
