Verdict
Official figures deservedly have Dream Ahead in front of FRANKEL but the market fails to reflect that and the layers may well be right. Henry Cecil's comments and glowing reports of the Galileo colt's gallops look to have influenced the betting as much as the performances which have seen him treat his opposition with disdain and he appears to possess the speed to cope with the drop back in trip. The market is fairly insulting to Dream Ahead as he has been equally impressive in brushing aside stronger opposition over six furlongs despite wandering off a true line once in the clear. Saamidd is well regarded at home but hasn't impressed as much as the market leaders on the track whilst this is a big step up in class for Roderic O'Connor who won well on his second start having shaped promisingly behind the unbeaten Dunboyne Express on debut.
