    Verdict

Richard Hughes is a notable jockey booking on MOOBEYN who is stepped up slightly in trip and runs in the first time blinkers for his first appearance in handicaps. He improved with each start as a juvenile and acts on the artificial. His dam was a winner at three-years-old and Marcus Tregoning has a good record when applying headgear to his entries. We take a chance that this expensive purchase can start to repay connections. Bakongo was a decent maiden winner here earlier in the year but has struggled in tougher handicap races from a mark that still appears a little high. There is more appeal from Hail Bold Chief who is in great form and could get competitive following a win last time out on the turf. Mr Harmoosh is in fantastic form of late and is looking for a hat-trick so has to be heavily respected, but he failed to enjoy his only appearance on Polytrack to date.
