In depth

Verdict

Jools gets the confident vote with Sir Haydn and Lord Chamberlain heading the list of dangers. The selection was a good third behind Fraternity on his last run in a much better race. He is one of the least exposed in the field looks to be on a handy mark and from a good draw he is impossible to oppose. Sir Haydon rates the main danger as he has been in the form of his life of late and won well last time out when beating Karaoke but he is not proven over the trip and for that reason he is passed over on this occasion. Lord Chamberlain is another that could go well but he just gave the impression the handicapper had caught up with him when second behind Louisade last time and he is over looked here. Buscador is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is more exposed than most and may be vunerable to a less exposed type. Of the remainder Hawkit ran as if returning to form when second behind Soviet Threat last time and is another with place claims but for the winner we return to the unexposed Jools.
