Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Misaro, Seven No Trumps and Gone'n'dunnett and the tentative vote is given to Misaro. The selection won well last time out when beating Pertemps Magus. He returns on a handy mark and under his optimum conditions he will be hard to beat. Seven No Trumps rates the main danger on hiss latest second behind Gone'n'dunnett last time and he is weighted to gain his revenge on that rival here. However his best form is on turf and for that reason he is opposed. Gone'n'dunnett won well last time but looks weighted up to his best now and will need to improve to score. Aswan won well last time out when beating Slavonic but that was over a longer distance and the drop in trip is not sure to suit. Of the remainder Merdiff is from a yard in form so is worth noting in the market but hew will do well to win under top weight and in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Misaro.
