Both of FINAL DRIVE'S victories have come in the month of November and, on the back of a fine effort over further at Lingfield, he may be about to add to his record during the eleventh month. The concern would be that he's a prominent racer which means a draw out wide is a concern but the form of his recent second is strong, as is that of his previous Kempton run, and there may be more to come. Collect Art is drawn even wider and has done all of his winning over seven furlongs so Andy Haynes' charge looks opposable along with Strike Force, well held off a lower mark last time. Steed must enter calculations having stayed on over six at Hamilton, in the process looking worth another try at this trip, although on the other hand his breeding does raise some doubts over the suitability of this surface.
