Verdict
A race that in the last two years has thrown up a future pattern-class horse can this time go to PISCEAN, who is very much riding the crest of a wave at present. Tom Keddy's horse has a very strong Polytrack record, so although he hasn't yet run at the track there's every hope conditions will prove suitable. The horse arrives on the back of a stylish Kempton success, one which represented a career best, and he can confirm form with Lenny Bee on 4lb worse terms. The latter bounced back to form that day and remains capable of better, but there's just a nagging suspicion that he'll prove better with gaps between his races. Whozthecat isn't perhaps straightforward but if he translates his turf form to this surface then he'll be a threat to all along with Dundalk winner Just For Mary, whose yard have had success with their British raiders.
