Not a strong race by any stretch of the imagination and this appears a good opportunity for Nessen Dorma to open his account at the main expense of Insubordinate and Key Of Gold. Kevin Ryan's gelding showed inexperience on his debut in a similar event over this trip at Southwell last month but picked up in eye-catching fashion to finish strongly in to second behind a fair yardstick. The son of Entrepreneur is entitled to be sharper for the outing and should take plenty of beating against some moderate rivals. Insubordinate appears to be progressing along the right lines and should do well in sprint nurseries but weakened noticeably over this trip at Southwell last time and may be better over the minimum distance. Key Of Gold shaped promisingly first time out but was well below that level of form next time and now has something to prove so Nessen Dorma looks the safest option in a poor event.
