SMILEY BAGEL wasn’t unduly tested when landing a hat-trick with last week’s success over 1m4f at Kempton. He’s penalised for that but there should be more to come from him over this longer trip. Carvelas is another expected to last home having also won over 1m4f last month while Cape Spirit and Tingo In The Tale were both narrowly beaten over course and distance on their respective latest starts. Oyster Card and Topalova have both been placed over a similar trip to this at Chelmsford recently and are others to consider.
