Front-running has transformed ASK PADDY, who has made all for facile victories here and at Catterick, the latest of them beating Lochalsh 16 lengths over this track and trip. Not surprisingly, he's shot up the weights and the latter is a massive 18lb better off so should get much closer without overturning the form. Captain Mowbray is reasonably consistent but has never won and was well beaten off this mark at Wetherby in January. Shark Hanlon sends Newstart over from County Carlow and the stable has hit a bit of form with few runners though the six-year-old has little to recommend him and pulled up in a point-to-point when last seen in October.
