        Verdict

        The last race on the card is probably the hardest to assess, Our Destiny and Iftikhar both hold strong claims, but we will give the vote to My Maite. This son of Komaite returns from a two month break and if he is in the same mood as he was just before his holiday he will be hard to beat. He just failed to catch the well handicapped Libre over course and distance, before finishing an excellent fourth behind Bienheureux over a longer trip. He is still on a nice mark and should go close under Jimmy Fortune. Our Destiny is rarely out of the frame and his recent second to Gold Guest here reads very well and he could pick up yet more place money. Iftikhar has very similar claims to Our Destiny, being a model of consistency over this track. However he is still a maiden and once again may fine one or two too good. Best of the others could be Cayman Calypso, but My Maite could be worth an interest here and gets our vote.
