In depth

Verdict

Misty Man showed enough at Southwell last time to suggest he can land this weak event at the expense of Battle Back and Bella Pavlina. This six-year-old was well to the fore at the mile stage when finally finishing third to Dash Of Magic over that mile and a half trip and could make good use of his early pace in this contest. Bella Pavlina wasn't disgraced in a much better contest than this at Southwell last time and can make her presence felt. Battle Back is no world beater but is steadily improving and hails from an in-form yard and could go well at a big price. Giust In Temp is also worthy of a mention in such a poor race but Misty Man is taken to land the honours.
