Verdict
Jeremy Glover's Summer Lodge is closely matched with CAPABLE GUEST on their running at Newcastle in September but Mick Channon's gelding has been running consistently well of late and is taken to get the better of the six-year-old again with the main danger looking to be Bell Island. The five-year-old is a relatively rare runner for Lady Herries but he has been in good form this year and was winning his third race of the season when successful at Lingfield last month. A 3lb rise for that success is perfectly fair and the son of Dansili has solid claims. Brian Ellison's Nakoma is similarly just 3lbs higher than when successful at Newcastle last month and he has to be respected switched to the Polytrack for the first time. Jeff Pearce's Quince has twice found just one too good in recent starts in claimers but he looks too high in the weights in a handicap and a safer option looks to be Capable Guest.
