MOCHA JAVA looks to be coming to the boil and is preferred to The City Kid and Mister Jingles in a typically competitive heat. The selection is back down to the mark from which he was last successful whilst his jockey is good value for his claim. His course record also stands up to close inspection with two wins from three starts and he has shown improved form for the fitting of blinkers. The City Kid has had a light campaign over the summer and may benefit from a recent spin around Wolverhampton where she wasn't disgraced. She's a regular around this circuit and isn't badly treated on the best of her form so has to be given a chance. Mister Jingles arrives on the back of good runs at Kempton and Wolverhampton and is on the same mark as for his latest run. He's finished in the money on half of his visits to the track and appears to hold a leading chance. Cases can be made for a good number but Mocha Java looks sure to give a good account.
