Richard Hannon's Getcarter was good value for his win at Kempton in September on his most recent start and a 4lb rise for that success is perfectly fair but the step up to seven furlongs may be against him and a better bet looks to be BAWAARDI, who gets the vote with Emeebee rated the best of the rest. The selection is less exposed than most of these after just three starts, justifying the promise of his debut outing as a juvenile at Ascot when winning a Lingfield maiden for John Gosden on his belated reappearance in September. The gelding probably found the going against him when beaten in a handicap at Salisbury last month and he looks worth siding with on his first start for Richard Fahey back on the Polytrack. Ed Vaughan's Dance And Dance won well enough at Kempton last month but struggled off his new mark on his most recent start and is likely to do so again. Hugh Morrison has his string in good form so his runner, Labisa, is likely to strip fitter for her recent return here. She makes more appeal than Jewelled, who has run to a consistent level of form but may be a shade high in the weights. Willie Musson's Emeebee has only had the four starts so far and looks to be going the right way judged by his recent second at Newmarket so he has solid claims but marginal preference is for Bawaardi.
