NAOMH GEILEIS may be able to gain a belated second success although Catherine looks pretty interesting and Outer Hebrides is another likely sort. Mark Johnston's filly showed decent form as a juvenile resulting in a handicap mark of 94. She completely lost her way at three as she struggled to cope with the assessment but has dropped to a mark of just 58 now and looks as though she should be competitive from it judged by her latest run. Her previous visit here wasn't without promise and the trainer's runners at the track always merit respect. The booking of Darryll Holland for the lightly raced Catherine looks interesting and she's run well enough on a couple of occasions to believe that she can go close; the market may be revealing. In contrast, Outer Hebrides is thoroughly exposed but he comes here on the back of a decent run and can be relied upon to give a good account of himself. As in the first division, there are plenty more that cases can be made for but Naomh Geileis interests us most of all.
