The proven fitness of ANAGRAM entitles him to the vote ahead of Cape Quarter whilst Tobrata can also be expected to give a good account. William Haggas has hit the target with three of his juvenile runners at the track in recent seasons so any support for Cape Quarter should be heeded. He's been off for over the year but certainly showed enough promise on his sole start last term to have leading claims in this company. As good as Haggas' record is, it's no match for that of Willie Muir who has gone one better with four winners from nine runners in this age group. Anagram is more exposed and was well held at Catterick last time but the return to racing on an artificial surface is expected to see her in a better light and she has leading claims on the book. Tobrata also has a decent shout on the figures once his pilot's claim is taken into account but the drop back from a mile isn't certain to suit and he may have to settle for a share of the prize money. The race looks to revolve around this trio and Anagram looks to hold the answer.
