In depth

Verdict

Stop On looks the one to be with in this maiden and he is nominated over Top Ticket and Pentathlon. Mick Channon's yard are just beginning to fire and this 3-year-old has looked quite useful in each of his 3 outings to date. He is returning from a break here but if he is fit enough to do himself justice then he should take all the beating. Top Ticket should be up to winning a maiden and he was not disgraced behind Mountain Pride at Leicester last time. His debut run has also worked out well so he is definite shortlist material and he should be the one to profit if the selection fails to fire. Pentathlon was a little disappointing last time but he could be a danger to them all if he is allowed an easy lead as Joe Fanning will try and make-all. Roundthetwist has had plenty of chances and the percentage call is to take him on. All of which returns us to Stop On as the one to beat.
