In depth

Verdict

Mineral Rights is preferred to Buzzin' Boyzee and Gaudaloup. Linda Perratt's horse seems to like seven furlongs at Dunstall Park and having had a couple of unsuccessful outings over shorter, it is to be hoped that the switch up in trip can work the oracle. Buzzin' Boyzee represents a yard that are sending out winners. She is not the most consistent of creatures but if this is a going day, she has the ability to run them all close. Guadaloup deserved her victory last time out. She is modest but willing. Circus Polka pulled much too hard for his own good on his most recent outing and Tom McLaughlin's first job is to ensure he doesn't fritter away his energy unnecessarily. Attacca put up a respectable run from absence when third at Southwell. Cap St Jean puts an abortive hurdling career to bed and returns to the level having left Pat Haslam. He had some fair placings on the turf and is one to note closely in the market. Recent winner, Aggbag has found life tough off this mark. A lowbrow but inherently competitive affair that can go the way of Mineral Rights.
