In depth

Verdict

Kames Park should be capable of seeing off Salute and Buscador. Linda Perrett has elected to drop the six-year-old into this grade following a couple of disappointments in handicaps and while it is always a question mark when horses are dropped into the grade, he has fair form in small fields and would be much worse off in a handicap. Salute is a regular at this level. He might be better over slightly further but can pick up if the likely favourite fluffs his lines. Buscador has caused a bloody nose to better horses in the past at this grade. Mark Brisbourne's front runner is nevertheless a reliable proposition. Looks The Business is best when tried up with the pace but he probably has a few pounds to find on balance. Atlantic Gamble and Ticking should find life too hot. Kames Park is not bombproof by any means but he should be up to today's task.
