All four of Ulshaw's wins have come on sand- three of them here. He beat Urgent Swift by half a length here over two miles recently with Daunted nine lengths away third and he may well confirm the form. Urgent Swift opened his account here in December over this trip, while Daunted has four wins at Lingfield and one at Southwell on his CV. Affaire D'Amour showed promise over much shorter distances last year, was runner-up over a mile and a half at Folkestone on her reappearance and comes from a stable renowned for improving three-year-olds. She is closely related to some very good horses too. All 13 of Western Command's victories have come on sand and he won here five times in the early weeks of the year. He is now 6lbs below his last winning mark and could pop up at good odds, despite a big weight.
