Verdict
Dusty Devil gets the vote over Sweetly Sharp, with Compton Lad and Grenane seen as three potential threats. Bill Turner normally has one or two juveniles speedy enough to support at this level, and Dusty Devil is taken to step up on what he showed at Southwell last month. He swerved at the start but knuckled down to his task to finish third, and with a drop in grade to help, should improve enough to be the one to beat. Sweetly Sharp turns out quickly after finishing third to One Trick Pony at Thirsk over the weekend, and although having more to do here, does have the experience, while Grenane will need another couple of furlongs on breeding before he comes good. The market will reveal if anything else is fancied no doubt, but on the bare form, Dusty Devil is the one to side with.
