A low-key affair in which the betting might be your best guide, with our vote going to Dixieland Boy ahead of maybe Augustus John and Existence. Dixieland Boy was second to Bank On Benny at Salisbury last time, form that equates to the mid 60s, which is good enough to make him one to seriously consider today. Ten To The Dozen can be considered on his best pieces of form but he was disappointing on his all-weather debut here last time. Thornbill attracted money on his debut but ran disappointingly; however, he should improve with that run under his belt. Existence is a Juddmonte cast off but, as you might expect, his breeding is impeccable, while Light Dreams has shown enough in handicaps recently to suggest he could make the frame. Finally, Irish import Augustus John could be interesting on his British debut but the others would be hard to build strong cases for, certainly in terms of winning. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Missie Baileys.
