Outlook is obviously the one to beat, with Crooner, Gamesters Lady, Mujelle and Aboyne possibly rating as the biggest dangers. Although six pounds higher than for his latest win, the Sir Mark Prescott-trained selection is very much on an upward curve of improvement and can build on that today. Crooner has shown reasonable maiden form and first-time blinkers could bring some more, while Gamesters Lady showed good speed at Musselburgh last time behind one of Sir Mark's, and warrants respect. Fair Rosamond improved for the step up in trip last time and, up again in trip today, might improve further. Major Broughton's best run so far has come here, again behind one of Sir Mark's, while English City and Aboyne could be open to some improvement. Finally, Mujelle is six pounds better off for the two-and-a-half lengths he finished behind the selection here last time, while Montini Royale is now without a shout. However, we will side with Outlook.
