Plenty of these have chances in a moderate but competitive contest including Robwillcall, Desert Fury and Mehmaas but what can only be a tentative vote goes to Lord Chamberlain. The selection was beaten in a non-handicap seller at Chepstow last time but earlier form in a better race than this at Brighton gives the 12-year-old solid claims and he is marginally preferred. Rabitatit has been given a chance by the handicapper and has to be respected along with top weight Dara Mac, who has been running consistently well of late. The lightly raced Themesofgreen and Proud Western, who is probably better over sprint trips, are others worthy of a mention, although a bigger threat is likely to come from recent Carlisle third Robwillcall. Wolverhampton banded stakes winner Desert Fury and the nine-year-old Mehmaas have to be respected in such a weak contest but the vote goes to Lord Chamberlain, who is taken to resume winning ways.
