    Verdict

With doubts over the temperament of Fullback we'll take POSTER to follow up his recent success in what could prove to be a trappy contest. Fullback looks the obvious one here on official ratings, coming into it as he does from a mark of 90 and being better off than if this were a handicap. However, three successive second placings ring some alarm bells and closer inspection reveals that he has flashed his tail and looks a bit reluctant at the business end, so we will take him on. True, Poster has a bit to find on the book, but Luca Cumani's colt improved to land a Leicester maiden last time and had a fair bit in hand, and over this longer trip he can probably find more and looks worth siding with. Solo Attempt was not disgraced in Listed company last time, and this is a bit easier. She has already won twice from four starts and her pedigree suggests she will improve for this trip, so she is seriously respected. Orsippus was a soft ground Goodwood scorer last time and that was also smart form in context, so he too could get competitive again, but we'll take Poster to display the winner's tag.
