WELL INFORMED stands out off the page in this as easily the highest BHA rated runner and, coupled with bottom weight in the contest, we will take her to score whilst also advising a little caution. The selection has had just four career starts to date, winning a Southwell maiden easily on debut before failing to cover herself in glory in three subsequent handicaps. It is hard to say whether she was over-rated by the assessor or not, but she did have year between her debut and her second run so there may have been wellbeing issues that have not been fully resolved. Even so, her performance from a mark of 70 in a handicap last time would be more than good enough to score here if she can reproduce it. Maddy is an interesting rival racing over this trip for the first time after going well over 10 furlongs. Pedigree suggests that she won't stay, but she has defied the bloodlines thus far and we wouldn't rule her out. Ruby Delta is on a lengthy slide and given that the blinkers haven't really worked it is doubtful that the visor will do so, and Ask Nicely is of more interest after only a few runs and in headgear for the first time. It's a race not to dwell on and we'll suggest Well Informed.
