Ismene was a highly impressive all the way winner in testing conditions at Uttoxeter last month and, being fully effective on this faster ground, should make a bold bid to follow up off a 5lb higher mark. Turaath showed progressive form to win twice at Market Rasen towards the end of last term and is another to consider off his current mark but veteran Bracey Run has paid the price for his easy Southwell success and may struggle on these terms.
