Very few of these have any sort of complimentary form so watch the market for clues but, without the early benefit of that, we'll go for Giust In Tempo to get the better of Malmand, Tarkwa, Good Timing and, possibly, Lucky Romance. The selection's form has really tailed off since running to a mark of around 50 over course and distance a year ago. However, a return to somewhere near that would make him competitive in this low-grade event. A similar comment applies to Good Timing if he can turn back the clock a couple of years, while Lucky Romance hails from a very good yard but has shown little since her first two racecourse runs. Again, though, if she recovers that form, she could go well. Malmand has at least won over course and distance, albeit in a seller, so certainly comes into the reckoning, and Tarkwa has a couple of selling-level runs to her name so has place claims. A number of these are blinkered or visored for the first-time, the best of which might be Pat Haslam's Nocatee. However, the tentative vote goes to Giust In Tempo.
