Anisette was beaten a short head on her debut effort - which was run over today's course and distance - and can go one better here at the main expense of Dark Champion and, possibly, Strike Lucky. The form of the selection's debut run has a fairly solid look to it and, with most of the others looking plating class, she looks to hold a good chance. Dark Champion is proving consistent without winning and it could be that Anisette has a little bit more scope for improvement today. Of the others, Strike Lucky showed some promise on his debut and could go well for Peter Makin, while Chanteuse has regressed since a fair Ayr run last June, but is now fitted with first-time blinkers. The others have a bit of improvement to find on what we know so, for us it's Anisette.
