In this competitive little handicap we can draw up a shortlist including Barcode, High Cross and DARK OASIS with the last mentioned getting the call. The selection ran a decent race over course and distance last time keeping on well to narrowly miss out. That race has only produced a further placing in a seller but that line represents some of the strongest form of any of this field. Barcode was even closer to getting off the mark in all-weather contests last time but the form is very weak from that. He still seems to be suffering at the hands of the assessor after a win on the turf during the summer but on these terms needs to be considered. High Cross has shown some form on the fibresand and makes his first venture onto the polytrack with the unknown factor a worry. Turn To Dreams has been beaten by both the selection and Barcode and the handicapper has put pay to any chance of a reversal so in a wide open contest we side with Dark Oasis.
