        Verdict

        An open handicap which will be a true test of stamina over the two mile trip. The old boy Jamaican Flight will assure the strong pace and comes here in good form following two wins in his last three starts. He remains a very difficult horse to predict but certainly holds realistic chances. Bergamo is in very consistent form and finished second behind Jamaican Flight last time. He is weighted to reverse that form today and looks a leading hope. Broughton Knows won on his first start over this trip last time out and remains open to further improvement at this type of distance. There was a slow pace that day though and he does like to race up with the pace, so he may find life a bit more difficult here. He holds Adalpour from that run who has been doing his winning in lesser company. River Of Fire is consistent but exposed and is likely to find this trip a little too far, with the same applying to Strictly Speaking who also remains a difficult horse to win with.
