Bobby Kennard gets the call here ahead of Three Boars and, possibly, Swell Lad. Being the only course and distance winner in the line-up, Bobby Kennard's chance is an obvious one and, given that he also does not fare too badly on adjusted ratings, he should go well. Although unproven at today's trip, the generally-consistent Zaffeu might go well, while Three Boars, based on his 12-furlong effort here in June, his only effort on the all-weather, is another to consider. Finally, it is possible that the step up in trip could bring improvement from Swell Lad, so his chance is not dismissed. Quite simply, the others need to improve which, in turn returns us to the selection, which is Bobby Kennard.
