Verdict

WENTWELL YESTERDAY attempts today’s longer trip for the first time having found one too good at Kempton the last twice. He finished ahead of Tennessee Rose last time and Hazell Berry before that and may prove good enough. Alligator went close over a mile at Chelmsford only to run a shocker at Bath recently but Restore posted a better effort at Kempton and is closely matched with Tennessee Rose. John T Chance showed improved form on his handicap bow at Redcar and the likes of Silver Chimes and Clenymistra may do better now handicapping for the first time.
