This valuable handicap looks pretty tricky as one would expect, and Burning Incense gets the vote over Adantino, Beaver Patrol and Aahayson to name but a few. Of those mentioned, Burning Incense is the one with the most scope, as he has had just the two runs this term. Roger Charlton's four-year-old was well behind Beaver Patrol when the pair met at Newmarket on his return to action, but he turned the tables on that rival when a fast-finishing sixth in the Wokingham next time, and although the blinkers are left off again, he is taken to come good. Adantino hit winning form when gaining his third course success last month and is still well weighted enough to take a hand, while stablemate Phantom Whisper, touched off in a class 4 at Sandown, has more to do. The three-year-old Aahayson tried to make all in Listed company at Haydock last time, and is not out of it, but Burning Incense can pay to follow, and if the breaks come, he can burst through to score.
