Verdict

ZABALETASWANSONG finished a lot closer dropped down into this grade at Doncaster last week. He makes most appeal if improving further on that form is preferred to Autumn Lodge, still beaten seven lengths when runner-up at Kempton. The latter’s stablemate Sheila's Empire makes her racecourse debut but Rampant Lion, a brother to a winner and a half-brother to the Listed-class Master Of War, may prove best of the newcomers ahead of Hemingford and Barbarianatthegate.
