Montrachet is fancied to win here ahead of Keidas and Dansil In Distress. Michael Bell's filly has proven herself on this softer ground that the English summer is bringing and a 5lb rise in the weights may not be enough to stop her winning again. She shapes as if she will stay further than this mile in time and this Singspiel filly gets the vote with Jamie Spencer hopeful of another win in his quest for the jockey's title. Sylvester Kirk has a likely pair in Sylvan and Dansil In Distress, with the last-named look the pick if she can translate her all-weather form to the turf which she hasn't so far. Cape Velvet is consistent and can reach the frame again, as should Keidas. Chris Wall's filly won well at Nottingham two starts back but wouldn't want any further rain. Kashmir Lady is another for consideration, however Montrachet is on a role and gets the nomination.
