Hathaal showed a lot more in defeat last time out at Leicester and he can land this seller ahead of Anko, Parbyblos and Victory Sign. The selection chased home Atlantic Gamble just four days ago and was closing nicely at the line; he stays pretty well and fully effective on this ground, he gets the tentative vote. Parbyblos, an ex-French filly, has shown a dodgy attitude in her two English starts so far. However, she looked fairly useful in France so cannot be ruled out with any confidence. Victory Sign hasn't been seen on the flat for a long time and has been out of form of late. This lightly raced sort may just have needed that run though. Ren's Magic returns from a lengthy break, as does Killala. Orchard House is arguably better on the all-weather but cannot be ruled out with Jamie Spencer an eye-catching jockey booking. A poor race can go to Hathaal.
