Habanero deserves to get his head in front and Richard Hannon's colt is taken to gain a deserved success at the main expense of Sohgol and Dr Thong. The last mentioned has become disappointing but is now racing at more realistic level and Paul Cole's four-year-old has to be respected. Course and distance handicap winner Jools has found life tough in that grade of late and seems up against it at the weights here, while Enford Princess has not won since her juvenile days and may again find at least one too good. Zerlina is open to further improvement but would not want any of the forecast rain and of more interest may be Andrew Balding's Chantaco, who has been freshened up by a break. The three-year-old Sohgol is progressing the right way and has to be considered but the vote goes to Habanero, who has not done a great deal wrong of late in defeat and would not mind any softening of the ground.
