CAPAILL LIATH is worth another chance to confirm the promise of his debut by beating With Hindsight; Buddy Miracle and newcomer Mr Perceptive are worthy of note as well. Barry Hills' charge was sent off at odds of 4/11 at Nottingham only to be keen and worried out of winning late on having sweated up. He still only went down by a head and a repeat performance would see him go close and that debut at Haydock, when he travelled sweetly despite showing signs of greenness, suggests there should be more to come and he can gain compensation. With Hindsight arrives with a similar profile having not necessarily improved upon a fine debut on his second start. Clive Cox's colt was also beaten a head but he was rather laboured and the form of his debut doesn't appear as strong as that of our selection's. Buddy Miracle made an encouraging start to her racing career with a seventh at Bath; the winner went on to run reasonably at Royal Ascot and the third and fifth-placed horses both won next time out. She should improve to run a better race here. Richard Hannon trained a couple of runners who finished behind With Hindsight last time so market support for his newcomer Mr Perceptive would be noteworthy. There's plenty of speed on the dam's side of the pedigree and his sire Iffraaj was at his best over seven furlongs so this seems an ideal starting point. Laugh Or Cry took fourth on his debut and could improve but we'll take Capaill Liath to confirm the promise of his debut.
