White Park Bay showed improved form for her new yard last time and can go one better this evening at the expense of Ambersong and Lightning Star. Suzy Smith's filly was runner-up to Pont Neuf here last time, a horse that is probably just above selling company, tonight's opposition appear to be much weaker and a victory looks on the cards. Lightning Star hasn't raced on the flat for almost three years but has been performing with distinction over hurdles this summer. He hails from a shrewd yard and must be given every respect. The pick of Ambersong's form this season was a close up third behind Diamond Orchid at Yarmouth, a repeat of that running would easily be good enough to see Tony Carroll's gelding take a hand in the finish here. Another one to note is Hughie Morrison's Great Gidding, but White Park Bay has found a new lease of life and is taken to oblige.
