Hot Lips Page was a smooth winner last time and can follow up this evening, Sea Of Gold and Du Pre look the obvious dangers. Richard Hannon's top-weight had shown decent form in better company as a two-year-old before tackling handicaps this season. A promising run at Newbury was followed by a comfortable length and threequarters victory over Dami at Chepstow and there could be more to come. Sea Of Gold has shown plenty of promise in three maidens this season and hasn't been overburdened by the handicapper, Frankie Dettori in the plate is another plus. Amanda Perrett has her string in good form at present so Du Pre, an excellent runner up behind Carry On Doc at Brighton last time must be considered a major threat. Of the others the improving Soviet Spirit is also worthy of a mention, but Hot Lips Page won with something in hand last time and can defy the handicapper again.
