A very competitive maiden with numerous runners open to any amount of improvement, one such animal is Motorway, who can get the better of News Sky and Day Of Reckoning. Roger Charlton's charge hasn't raced since his April debut at Bath when a promising sixth behind Solor. The stable wasn't firing at that time so we can expect a much better performance from this well bred, and expensive colt. News Sky improved from his debut effort at Newbury to chase home another Charlton inmate Balavista at Haydock. He is certainly going the right way and may provide the biggest threat to the selection. Sir Michael Stoute runs the newcomer Day Of Reckoning who is superbly bred by Daylami out of a Northern Baby mare, watch for any market moves on this one. The same can be said of the James Fanshawe debutante Aspired, but they will have to be above average to beat our selection Motorway.
